Hi parents and soon-to-be parents be caotious

Hi parents and soon-to-be parents,

A friend of my husband told him this true story which happened to his own sister in our very own Mid Valley City (for the benefit of those overseas, MVC is large shopping complex in KL) :-

The friend's sister and her husband where having a meal in one of the restaurants in MVC with their young son. Then suddenly, they were intruded by a big fat lady who tried to be very annoying and intrusive. They tried their best to get rid of this stranger. As all this commotion was going on, the husband noticed that their young son was no longer sitting at the table with them. When the husband looked around for his son, he saw that the little boy was walking towards a man outside the restaurant who was beckoning him to come over. The husband quickly got up from his seat and started calling out his son's name.
This was when the big fat lady gave a 'hand cutting neck' signal to her accomplice outside indicating that the 'mission' was to be aborted. The man and the fat lady then disappeared out of sight. I'm sure you have heard of syndicates out there that are kidnapping young children, handicapping them and then putting them out on the streets to beg. This story shows that what we've heard is very true. We've also been told that the 'targeted' children are those who are between the ages of 2 to 5.
And, the fairer they are, the better the price they'll fetch too. My hope is that you'll let your family and friends know of this story and ask them to always be alert when they take children out.

Please feel free to pass this email to anyone whom you think will benefit from it.

A very wise man had said this to me about this family -- "... you are all I work so hard for. If I don't have that, nothing else matters at all."

I couldn't agree with him more. Warmest regards, Satyam

want to be a boss

The ability to give instructions in delegating tasks to subordinates is essentially important. Unfortunately, there is always a gap between the instructions given and the jobs get done. Among the most common reasons for these discrepancies are Using ambiguous words in instructions, such as,

1.“Get this report done as soon as you can.” If you want it to be ready by three o'clock, then say so.

2. Assuming that instruction given to your subordinate is crystal clear without taking extra effort to clarify it.

3. Failing to motivate your subordinate by taking some time to brief him on why he is being asked to perform this task.

4.Giving too many details to the experienced subordinate or too few to the inexperienced one. The first will be insulted whilst the second will be stressful.

5.Not tailoring an instruction to the subordinate. Some require a direct instruction; others perform better if the instruction is a request.

6. Choosing inappropriate timing for issuing instruction to your subordinate, for instance at the end of a workday.

7. Giving multiple instructions to your subordinate at one time. If you try to cover too much in one session, you risk ending up with nothing carried out correctly.

8. Putting a distance between yourself and your subordinate. If you issue your instruction in writing, you are eliminating the possibility of questioning.

Signs of a Relationship Going Bad

The main reason that people stay in a relationship that isn’t working is because they have a fear of being alone. They are scared of moving on, making a new life for themselves as all they can see in front of them is lonliness.
Here are some of the warning signs that a relationship is on the brink of failure and its time to move on:
1. Fighting for no reason. If you are fighting over petty issues that seem to blow out of proportion.
2. Showing little or no affection. This is an area that can break a relationship because its usually determined by the disgruntled party. Do we really know what is too much or too little?
3. If it’s an intimate relationship and you now find yourself in a situation where sexual involvement has stopped or virtually stopped or so mundane that you cant want until its finished. This is the real sign that the relationship is over.
4. Conversation in the relationship has stopped. Remember the long hours you would spend chating on the phone and in person, talking about everything and anything?
5. Finding you are more interested in looking around you at other people/women instead of the one you are with. Remember the times when you would sit at a table gazing into each others eyes?
6. Beginning to realise that finding excuses to not be alone together are becoming more evident. Working late becomes a popular tool.
7. Vacations are spent apart. If your partner says that are going to a particular romantic holiday destination either by themselves or with friends .. It’s over!
These are just a few key points that could indicate your relationship is going bad.

There are many different signs of a relationship going bad. If you will keep yourself objective and open to the signs, it can save you some pain. The break up of a relationship is always a tough thing to deal with, but staying in a relationship that isn’t healthy is worse than moving on and being by yourself. There are a few key signs that you can look for to know whether or not you should end your relationship. These signs do not always spell disaster, but in many cases, they do. Overall, communication is the ultimate way to make this decision, but keeping an eye out for signs of trouble is always a good idea.

One thing you might look for is the when your loved one hurries off the phone when he or she is talking to you. Watch for times that they seem like they can’t wait to end the conversation. It could mean that they something or someone else on their minds. This is by no means a sure sign that your loved one wants to leave. The simple suggestion is to be aware and cautious with this type of occurrence in a situation.

One more indicator that your love is looking to leave is if you are constantly fighting. There are times when couples don’t get along, but it should never be a constant everyday thing. Even worse than simply fighting with your loved-one is fighting over trivial matters. This is a sign that you may be getting tired of each other. Many times, one part of a relationship picks insignificant fights with the other trying to get the other person to break up with them. They get the freedom they seek while not having to be the bad guy or gal that directly causes the break up.

Another way your significant other may be hinting that they want to leave is that you can’t get them to talk about a future with you. If they are avoiding talk of heavier commitment, you may have a person that is not looking for commitment. When you can’t get your lover to make plans weeks ahead, much less years, that has got to make you take some serious time to think about your current situation.

Also when keeping an eye out for reasons for ending a bad relationship, keep an eye out for a loss of interest in sex. This could be an indicator that he or she is definitely not as interested in the relationship any longer. This is a big occurrence in a relationship. This sign is impossible to miss and could mean bad things for your relationship.

One final thing to watch out for when you are watching for signs that your relationship is in trouble is if your significant other wants "space" away from you or to "see other people". This is a sure sign of your loved one backing off from or backing out of the relationship. As soon as you agree to this type of suggestion, don’t count on your relationship moving any further.

Most of these scenarios don’t mean for sure that the relationship is breaking down, but they certainly aren’t positive signs and combined, things don’t look good. While you shouldn’t be paranoid because it can damage a relationship, be smart and discerning. Watch for signs because many of these signs are so obvious they are almost smacking you in the face. Want the best advice? Communicate with your love one. It will not hurt less if you put things off. Get your emotions out there if you think there is something wrong in your relationship

Why Panadol for headache ?

Breathing Therapy: We have left, right nose, is that the same for inhale and exhale? ¨ Actually they are different, can feel the difference; right side represent the sun, left side represent the moon.

When having headache, try to close right nose and use your left nose to do your breathing, about 5 min, headache will be gone.

If you feel tired, do it the opposite round, close your left nose and breathe through your right nose. After a while, you will feel your mind is fresh again. Right side belong s to heat, so it gets hot easily, left side belong s to cold.

Most of the girls breathe with their left nose, so their heart gets cold easily.
Most of the guys breathe with their right nose, so they get angry easily
Do you notice the moment we wake up, which side breathes faster? Left or right?
If left is faster, you will feel tired. So, close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing, you will get refresh quickly.
This can be taught to kids, but the effect will be better if apply by elders.

I used to have headache, it was so painful, go to doctor, doctor told me: it will be all right if you married! (All audients laugh), doctor does not bullshit, what he said is supported with proofs.
That time, every night I am having headache problem, not able to study, I did take medicine, but that is not a good way. One night, I sit down and close my right nose and breathe with left nose, less than one week, my headache problem is gone! I continue to do it one month, from that night until today, headache does not attack me anymore. This is what I experienced myself, I told others, if headache, can try this way, because this is effective for me. Many people have tried and it works for them as well. This is a natural therapy, not like medicine, taking for long term will get side effect. So, why not try it out?
Always breathing your body can feel very relax.

Thanks

To Make Changes Works for You, Follow These 4 Strategies

1। Do not react but instead do respond.

What is the difference between reacting and responding? When you react, you feel and act without thinking. When you respond, you think first, suspend your automatic judgment and then you choose your emotions as well as your actions. People have a tendency to react to change by thinking the worst and imagining undesirable outcomes. “Life as I know is now over!”

2। Engage your personal power।

Engaging your personal power is about reaching inside yourself to find the willingness to change, to persevere and to help others। It is about maintaining a positive approach in your thoughts, words and emotions so that you stay energized and ready for new challenges. Your personal power will be greatly enhanced if you maintain your sense of humor and keep your business and personal life in balance.

3। Acquire facts and information।

Be proactive about your situation। Learn all you can about the change and why it is taking place। Do not be afraid to ask questions to help you determine where you are in relation to where the organization is going। Do your research। Find out which products and services are current। Learn more about your industry and the current trends in your marketplace। Having accurate information gives you a stronger feeling of control over what you can do and who can help you move toward your potential future।

4. Leverage your skills and abilities.

When you are confident about your abilities and the talent you bring to the workplace, change will be less threatening. Constantly inventory the skills you have and pay attention to changing requirements in your field. When you find a gap, close it. If your skills are current and in demand you are employable.

Happy Married Life

"What is the secret behind your happy married life?"

He said, "You should share responsibilities with due love and respect to each other
Then absolutely there will be no problems।

" I asked, "Can you explain?"

He said, "In my house, I take decisions on bigger issues where as my wife decides on smaller issues. We do not interfere in each other's decisions."

Still not convinced, I asked him "Give me some examples"

He said, "Smaller issues like which car we should buy, how much amount to save, when to visit home town, which Sofa, air conditioner, refrigerator to buy, monthly expenses, whether to keep a maid or not etc are decided by my wife.

I just agree to it"

I asked,

"Then what is your role?"

He said,
"My decisions are only for very big issues. Like whether America should attack Iraq, whether Britain should lift sanction over Zimbabwe, whether to widen African economy, whether Sachin Tendulkar should retire etc. Do you know one thing, my wife NEVER objects to any of these.

Ask God

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary

I asked God to grant me patience.

God said, No.Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.

God said, No.
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

If you love God, send this to ten people and back to the person that sent it.

THIS DAY IS YOURS DON'T THROW IT AWAY

May God Bless You,

"To the world you might be one person,
But to one person you just might be the world"

"May the Lord Bless you and keep you,
May the Lord Make his face shine upon you,
And give you Peace......Forever"

"Good friends are like stars...
You don't always see them, But you know they are always there.

Good HabitTURN OFF their PC's before Leaving OFFICE /Home PC

*To all those who do not TURN OFF their PC's before Leaving OFFICE - Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam*
Most of us in the IT field, used to do one thing before leaving for the day from office,
Press Ctrl+Alt+ Del and leave to home happilii

That means your PC is still on॥
One normal PC in the sleeping mode (Hibernation) will consume 35 watts/hr।

Based on this we will do a small calculation।

For one week 24 * 7 = 168 Hrs Of this if we consider that we are working for 68 hours, then the PC is in sleeping mode for 100 Hrs a week. For one month 4 * 100 = 400 Hrs In a normal IT office, if we assume approximately 250 PCs are there, 250 * 400 = 1,00,000 Hrs (Sleeping Mode) So the power wasted in an office in a month is, 100000 * 35 = 3500 KWH or units. If the charge per unit is Indian Rs. 6, then totally the wastage value is approximately 21000 Indian rupees./2100 RM (Ringget Malaysia)/ 600 USD

Here the sad thing is not the money loss to the company but the power loss to the country. (Hope no company is bothered about this procedure of keeping the system in sleeping mode)

Apart from the loss to the country we need to think of the efforts people are putting for producing the power in the Mines, Thermal Stations, Hydro electric Stations, etc.
If this is to continue, the cost of unit power will go up & at one stage we will not get power even if we are ready to pay any cost.
So before leaving to home take some time to shut down the PC and do some favour to the country and the organisation.
*** Do it once it will become a Habit... Good Habit... be a good citizen of the world .....

Malaysia Information and History

Comprising the territories of Malaya, Sarawak, and Sabah, Malaysia stretches from peninsular Malaysia to northeastern Borneo in Southeast Asia. Central mountains divide peninsular Malaysia (Malaya), separating the narrow eastern coast from the fertile western plains, with its sheltered beaches and bays. Sarawak and Sabah share the island of Borneo with Indonesia and Brunei, where swamps rise to jungle-covered mountains. Malays make up half the population, and almost all Malays are Muslims. Ethnic Chinese constitute a quarter of Malaysia's people, and Indians some 7 percent—both groups are concentrated on the peninsula's west coast.

In the mid-19th century the United Kingdom began importing Chinese to work the tin mines of Muslim sultanates on the Malay Peninsula; by the turn of the century new rubber plantations employed transported Indian laborers. In 1957 the Federation of Malaya gained independence from Britain. Six years later the colonies of Sarawak and Sabah, on the island of Borneo, and Singapore joined Malaya to form the Federation of Malaysia; Singapore withdrew in 1965. Malaysia is one of the world's largest exporters of semiconductors, electrical goods, and appliances. After a long period of economic growth, Malaysia—like many countries—was hit hard by the Asian financial crisis in the late 1990s. Kuala Lumpur, the nation's capital, anchors the new Multimedia Super Corridor, Asia's equivalent of the U.S.'s Silicon Valley. The government, a federal democracy with a ceremonial king, has ambitious plans to make Malaysia a leading producer and developer of high-tech products, including software.
